Recently opened independent coffee shop, 119 Lower Clapton, was the venue for a collaboration of talent and taste with the opening of its first exhibition on 20 June.

On display were locally hand-built bikes from Kennedy City Bicycles, designed for their reliability, beauty, practicality and value for money.

To help with the opening night celebrations, traditionally-made wine came from 259 Hackney Road Wine Shop and handcrafted beer from Hackney-based Five Points Brewery.

It all added up to great atmosphere and a full house for the evening.

119 Lower Clapton is the achingly on-trend destination for lovers of coffee and fine teas, with food to match. Owner,
self-confessed coffee obsessive and local entrepreneur Erica Routledge, plans to continue showing work from local
artists and businesses and is a passionate advocate of like-minded companies supporting each other with collaborative ventures.

Anyone interested in exhibiting at 119 Lower Clapton or joining with Erica on a local event is asked to get in touch with her.
