If you’ve been looking to switch up your festival habits, FOUND Festival is as humble and intimate as its venue in Haggerston Park suggests.

The 6500 capacity event, promoted by the founders of Eastern Electrics and Found Street Party, speaks for itself. Loudly. Welcoming the rebirth of house, techno, and garage in Hackney.

Fronted by Maya Jane Coles, Lee Foss, Huxley, Floating Points and Henrik Schwarz, highlights include music from Berlin, Detroit and New York.

“We’ve worked with our favourite promoters to get the best representation of undergrounds music scenes,” says co-founder of Found, James Benenson.

With a sound heavy, diverse selection of acts, this is unlikely to disappoint, redefining the boundaries of traditional festival setups in the process.

FOUND Festival takes place on Saturday 15 June 2013 in Haggerston Park, Shoreditch from 11am-9pm.
