This Friday, running gear replaces uniforms as Hackney police officers join colleagues from across east London in a challenge to run up the tallest building in the City of London.

The officers are making the run in aid of  the Robyn Higgins Appeal.

Robyn was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma cancer, a cancer which only affects children under the age of ten and is extremely aggressive.

All the money raised by the run will go towards life-saving treatment.

“Time is not on our  side, we need to raise this money to give this very  brave little girl who has fought so courageously, the chance she desperately  needs and deserves.  Robyn wants to fight, she wants to win.  She  deserves this chance to live,” said a spokesperson on behalf of campaigners.

Please donate here.

No amount is too small – every penny you give will go towards saving Robyn.

The Hackney police officers taking up the challenging run are PCs Lotte Wookey, Phil John, Jamie Sweeney,  Mathew Daley, Peter Rushforth, Dave Anslow and Emily Freeman.
