Town Hall’s lawyers conclude structural survey was insufficient
Hackney Council has suspended its demolition of an historic Georgian terrace following complaints from conservation group OPEN Dalston.
The Town Hall has submitted a new application to knock down the buildings after its lawyers concluded its structural survey was insufficient.
The terrace is thought to date from 1807 and the council wants to replace it with ‘heritage likenesses’.
