Hackney Police Borough Commander to host first live webchat

Hackney Police’s borough commander will host a live webchat tomorrow, answering questions on policing in the borough and his vision of the future.

Chief Superintendent Matt Horne, said: “I am keen to increase engagement opportunities between the local police and residents and one way we can do this is through the internet.”

He added: “I envisage holding more of these in the future on specific themes so would welcome the public’s ideas on what they’d like to see discussed in the future.”

The webchat will be accessible here on Wednesday 28 November at 6.30pm and questions can be pre-submitted at: hackneypolice@met.police.uk or on Twitter using the hashtag #AskHackneyPolice.
