The barbecue area at London Fields has been reopened, the council has confirmed.
It was closed off on Sunday following an accident in which a man was run over by a council vehicle while he was sunbathing. The victim was taken to hospital by air ambulance but was not seriously hurt.
Hackney Council announced the reopening on Twitter.
London Fields is hugely popular during summer months because it allows public barbecues.
