A terrorist suspect was arrested in the early hours of Wednesday morning at a residential address in Hackney.
The 21 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assisting another to commit acts of terrorism, or to engage in any conduct for the committing of such acts, by facilitating another to travel abroad.
The man was taken to a central London police station where he was bailed until December pending further enquiries.
A residential address in Hackney was searched by police following his arrest.
